Implementation of education reform in high school: the rules governing certification of DES have been changed; training courses were introduced in 2ecycle of secondary general and special conditions for admission to college were reviewed. The first edition (2009) Maritime Career Fair was a resounding success. Upon visiting 14 sites including a Youth Employment Centre, a Centre for Adult Education and two CEGEPs, exhibitors and proposed activities have attracted about 1,200 visitors over 3 days (including 755 students and staff of teaching). On 8 October, a survey was sent to exhibitors and schools in order to obtain feedback and suggestions from everyone. The results of this survey will accompany the post mortem of the event which will be sent to participants in a few weeks. The positive feedback received to date show the real value of this project which could be renewed the next year.
